BITAHACO: Overcoming challenges to achieve success, setting a sustainable growth target for 2026
On March 18th, Binh Tay Import-Export Production Services Joint Stock Company (BITAHACO) – a subsidiary in which Saigon Trading Corporation (SATRA) holds a 40% stake – successfully held its 2026 Employee Conference.
Attending the conference were Mr. Phung Dinh Dung – Chairman of the SATRA Trade Union, along with representatives from various departments of the Corporation; Mr. Dang Quang Minh – Chairman of the Board of Directors of BITAHACO Company and 16 delegates representing the entire workforce of the Company.

Exceeding profit targets amidst a volatile market
Reporting at the conference, Mr. Le Van Tuan – General Director of BITAHACO – stated that 2025 will be a challenging year as market purchasing power declines and competitive pressure from e-commerce weighs heavily on traditional business. However, thanks to a streamlined organizational structure and cost optimization strategy, the company’s revenue reached VND 14.9 billion, and notably, profit reached VND 3.036 billion, exceeding the targets set by the General Shareholders’ Meeting.
In addition to business results, the company affirms that it always prioritizes the interests of its employees. Salaries, bonuses, insurance, and health benefits are fully and promptly implemented, helping the workforce feel secure in their jobs.
Focus for 2026: Digital transformation and efficient infrastructure utilization
Recognizing that 2026 will still present many economic obstacles, the BITAHACO leadership team has set out a development roadmap focusing on four main pillars:
– Asset optimization: Boosting land utilization and upgrading service infrastructure.
– Market expansion: Strengthening wholesale operations and developing market share.
– Technological advancements: Applying digital transformation to enhance labor productivity.
– Capital development: Ensuring employee income goes hand in hand with preserving equity capital.
Strengthening internal cooperation and grassroots democracy
Speaking at the conference, Mr. Phung Dinh Dung – Chairman of the SATRA Trade Union – praised the spirit of solidarity at BITAHACO. He emphasized that in the coming period, the company needs to strengthen its proprietary trading activities; and maximize the advantages of the SATRA ecosystem through enhanced internal cooperation.

“The Company’s Trade Union Executive Committee needs to proactively advise the Management Board on implementing the grassroots democracy regulations, strengthening dialogue within the enterprise to better care for the legitimate rights of employees, and launching and implementing the emulation movement for excellent and creative labor, thereby contributing to the Company’s outstanding achievement of double-digit growth targets.”
Responding to the directives, General Director Le Van Tuan affirmed that he would closely coordinate with the Trade Union, using the unity of the workers as a leverage to successfully achieve the socio-economic goals in the new year.
